Alex Luddy

Alex graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. After working for 10 years with a design-build firm on the shores of Lake Erie, Pennsylvania, he joined Campion Hruby as a landscape architect. His background includes designing and managing large commercial projects ranging from educational institutions, private healthcare campuses, public parks & recreation as well as residential properties. Alex enjoys the creative problem solving component of landscape architecture and working with a team of professionals throughout the design process to help bring the project to life.

The challenge of marrying an existing site with a client’s wants & needs while focusing on improving the outdoor environment through best management practices excites him as each project proposes a new problem to solve. Outside of work, Alex can be found in an ice rink playing in a men’s hockey league or in his role as the director of hockey & head coach of a local high school hockey program. In addition to hockey, he is passionate about hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs. Alex is a licensed landscape architect in the state of Pennsylvania.
