Mike is a native Marylander who returned to his home state after attaining a degree in Architecture from Clemson University in South Carolina. Although his studies focused primarily on architecture, he has always been curious about landscape architecture and its ability to affect mankind and nature by creating pockets of space for all to enjoy. During his studies abroad in Spain and the Netherlands, he came to appreciate the complexities of the relationship between the natural environment and the built and their influences on each other. Many of his projects to-date were inspired by how both the architecture and the landscape would meld into one cohesive design. In his spare time, Mike can be found studying for the GRE to pursue graduate school, playing soccer, or exploring his new home of Washington D.C.
