Stephanie Cavanaugh

Landscape Designer I

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clemson University, Stephanie discovered a passion for design that led to a career-changing introduction to Landscape Architecture. Following graduation, she worked as a design assistant at a boutique landscape design firm in Greenville, South Carolina, where she gained hands-on experience in residential design and found her calling in the field. After several years of exploration and planning, Stephanie earned her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Maryland. Her thesis focused on bridging the gap between private and public spaces and encouraging homeowners to consider the long-term impact of their gardens. With a background rooted in residential work, Stephanie is interested in the impact of residential design on our greater ecosystem. Stephanie is excited to bring her experience, curiosity, and passion to CHLA! Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her partner, exploring new places, reading, and watercolor painting.
